UNDERSTANDING IGF DES 1-3:

IGF-1 DES (1-3) has captured attention as one of the most potent and fast-acting growth- promoting peptides known today. Often referred to as a “next-generation growth factor,” IGF-1 DES is a shortened, more active version of the naturally occurring Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) – a hormone that plays a crucial role in muscle repair, regeneration, and tissue development. IGF-1 DES (1-3) is a synthetic peptide that represents a modified form of IGF-1. It is created by removing the first three amino acids from the natural IGF-1 sequence – a small change that makes it 10 times more biologically active in certain tissues. This modification prevents it from binding strongly to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs) – molecules that normally limit IGF-1 activity. As a result, IGF-1 DES acts locally and rapidly, making it a short-acting but powerful stimulator of cell growth and repair. When tissues experience mechanical stress or microtrauma – such as during exercise, injury, or recovery – IGF-1 DES helps promote cell proliferation and differentiation. It binds to IGF-1 receptors in muscle and connective tissue, stimulating:

• Muscle satellite cell activation (muscle stem cells that repair and grow fibers).

• Protein synthesis (the building of new muscle tissue).

• Angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels).

• Tissue repair and recovery after physical stress.

Because IGF-1 DES has a short half-life (around 20–30 minutes), it primarily works at the site where it is produced or administered, unlike IGF-1 LR3, which has more systemic effects throughout the body.

DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION:

Starting dose 0.02 – 0.04mg per injection, increased based on tolerance and response. Typical dosage 0.02 – 0.1mg per injection, 1-2 times on training days.
